Message from Elders

Our hope is to faithfully preach, teach, equip, and lead as many people as possible to know, to love, and to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and all those within their sphere of influence. Our intention is to feed the desire to grow in the faith, and to encourage Christians to live their entire lives before the face of God.

What to Expect

Below you will find some quick information to help you get to know a little bit about us. If you have any questions,
comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Arrival Time

Our worship services begin at 10:00 AM each Sunday, and we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early. This time provides an opportunity for fellowship over coffee and meaningful connection with fellow believers, as well as a chance to prepare your heart for worship. We look forward to joining together in unity as we seek to honor and glorify God.

What to Wear

We emphasize the condition of your heart over your attire, so you are warmly invited to come as you are. Whether you choose to wear a suit and tie or prefer the comfort of casual attire, you will find a gracious and welcoming atmosphere. While our congregation typically dresses in a relaxed manner, what truly matters is your presence as we gather to worship and honor God together.

Worship Style

At Redeemer Church, our services are centered on glorifying God through worship that is both simple and grounded in Scripture. Expect a time of heartfelt praise through song, earnest prayer, and clear exposition of Scripture. Each service lasts approximately 75-90 minutes. We invite you to join us as we seek to honor Him in all that we do.

FAQ

We understand that the decision to visit a new church is a significant one. At Redeemer Church, you will not be asked to raise your hand, wear a name tag, or fill out any forms. Instead, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us in the worship of the living God and engage in our service at your own comfort level.

As you arrive, you will likely receive a gracious greeting from members of our congregation. However, you are free to find your place and participate as you feel led by the Spirit.

We look forward to welcoming you into our community and sharing in the worship of our Lord together.

We invite you to join us for worship at our new location: 6151 Brush Run Road, Bethel Park, PA, conveniently situated just off Clifton Road.

For those traveling from the surrounding areas, you can easily reach us via Route 88 and McMurray Road, directly accessible from Clifton Road. Whether you are coming from Pittsburgh, West Mifflin, South Park, Peters Township, or other nearby communities, we warmly welcome you. We look forward to gathering in fellowship as we grow together in faith.

Singing

During our worship service, together we will sing a selection of songs. We aim to sing songs that are biblically sound and have theological depth, singing the truth of God’s word back to Him. This includes the singing of psalms, some classic hymns of the church, and some contemporary selections as well. As we sing, our focus is not on ourselves or those around us, but on expressing our love for Jesus. Regardless of your vocal ability, we encourage you to sing out with all your heart.

Teaching

We believe that the Bible is a precious and gracious gift from God, revealing who He is and what He has done for us. Each week, our elders teach directly from Scripture in a way that is both encouraging and challenging. If you do not have a Bible with you, we provide copies for your use. If you do not own a Bible, we invite you to take one home as our gift to you.

Prayer

One of the greatest privileges we have as followers of Christ is the ability to pray with boldness and confidence. We will pray together throughout our service, and if you would like someone to pray with you after the gathering, any of our elders would be honored to do so.

Communion

Communion is a sacred observance of covenant renewal that Jesus instituted the night before His crucifixion, allowing His followers to remember and participate in His death and His future resurrection. At Redeemer Church, we celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of each month after the message. We welcome all Christians who trust in Jesus for salvation and who are living in repentance and obedience to join us in this sacred act.

Giving

If you are visiting us, please do not feel any obligation to give financially. However, if you feel led to contribute, you may do so during the offering song.

At Redeemer Church, we deeply value the importance of families worshiping together. We believe that children are a blessing from God and vital members of our church community.

On Sundays from 9:30 to 10:00 AM, we offer Sunday School classes for children ages 3 to 5 and those 6 and older, focusing on catechisms that enhance their understanding of the faith. Children’s packs are also available, filled with resources to support your family’s spiritual growth.

While we do not have a separate “children’s church,” we welcome the joyful sounds of children in our worship services. We encourage families to come together and worship the living God together as one body.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family as you grow in faith together.
